The mono-crystal diamond nanosheets is a new type of nanodiamond. Its morphology is flake and with mono-crystal structure. The specific characterization is as follows:
Transmission electron microscopy (TEM)
The TEM results the morphologies of nanodiamonds of different particle sizes are all sheet-like structures, and the SAED result show that the products have single crystal structure. The HRTEM image shows the lattice image with a lattice spacing of 0.205 nm that corresponds to the (111) lattice plane of diamond phase, and shows the products have good crystallinity.
X-ray diffraction (XRD)
The XRD patterns of the nanodiamond sheets with different size show that the diffraction peaks at 43.7°, 75° and 91° respond to the (111), (220), (311) planes of diamond phase, respectively. In addition, there are no other diffraction peaks at other positions, indicating that there no other impurity phases. The sharp and narrow diffraction peaks indicated that the nanodiamond sheets have strong crystalline. The XRD results are consistent with TEM results.
Note: In addition to above 5 products, we can also customize the granularity according to customer requirements. The 40nm and 70nm products only provide suspension, the concentration is about 10%. The suspension only contains deionized water and diamond nanosheets, and does not contain dispersant. The 100nm thick (inclusive) can provide dry powder or suspension according to customer requirements.

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR)
The FTIR pattern shows that the surface of single crystal diamond nanoplates contains a large number of negative hydroxyl groups, we can also make the surface of nano diamond with different functional groups by surface modification, the results are as follows:
UV/VIS/NIR
13C MAS NMR
The results of MAS NMR show that the nano diamond only contains sp3 hybrid carbon, does not contain other types of carbon atoms, which agreement with XRD results.
